The hills around Jos
Here are the hills near Jos.
Jos is in the highest part of Nigeria, in the Jos Plateau.
I went for a walk with some people from an organisation who are trying to conserve the landscape.
They also hope that more local people and tourists will be interested in walking in the hills.
During the 1800's people hid up in the hills as they were being attacked.
Here you can see where they used to make iron objects.
Here are the remains of one stone hut.
I want to go back in the rainy season.
People say that the landscape changes a lot.
It becomes very green and many flowers grow up.
